a good source for ready made kits to load into the MPC???

hi y'all...

im waiting on a 1k to arrive at the moment...

id like to get up and running making music straight away so id like to load some really REALLY nice kits in there straight off. you know good kicks,snares, rimshots, hats, fx tooo hopefully etc etc... and just get making beats and learning the machine...

I know sampling stuff in is a better way to get your own sounds in , and maybe cheaper aswell.. but that'll have to happen in parallel with this, cos i also want to get working on beats straight away...

is there a good source of crunchy , crusty, crackly(?!) lo-fi hits and sounds out there which can load into the MPC1000 already assigned to pads etc etc etc... (i.e. dedicated for the 1k??)

start with the samples on akaipro.com and google search- and get yourself a nice sized flash card- 512mb or a gig

It's meant to. Those samples will be a shit load nicer anyway. And worth what you pay for them.
I don't know though, why don't you guys like getting your own samples? Getting the samples is half the fun. Admittedly sometimes you just wanna bang out a beat, but give it a go...
