I have a track. Put a midi note at the start. I have Main Out: Int A. thats what i have in the record page too. Im using sound from my keyboard which isnt sampled in the mpc so maybe thats why but its still a midi note. Does it have to be a note triggering audio thats already in the mpc. I dont get this. I press play when im in record page. It just waits for the midi note. With the wee woman lookin at me , tauntin me.

what i do is make a default recording program and assign it to channel 16B, wich is INT B: channel 16. and record everything to that program. Or you could assign it to channel 4A for example and that will be INT A: channel 4 in the track view

I think your program does not have the same midi channel as your int track..?!

Make a search on tha board, been covered well a few months ago

THanks. I thought there was a post a couple of weeks about this aswell. People saying how they recorded whole songs usin just the 16mb by samplin souns and individual sounds. It was pretty cool. Cant find it now.
anywAy its a pity you cant record using the Midi Out. Maybe thats just unrealistic but it would suit me although i suppose once i get the hang of this i wont care.
