Hooking up my MPC2000xl & Sound Module with Cubase. HELP!

Ok, I want to set up cubase to record my tracks. please help me tell me what i need or what i need to setup. heres my current setup.


I have my midi keyboard going MIDI OUT to MIDI In On my MPC. And MIDI OUT of the MPC to MIDI IN on my Sound Module.

now im not knowledged with this, but i took another midi cable out from my mpc to my PC.

so please help me out, and if i have it set up right, please tell me how to get it to work with cubase. thx

it sounds like you're going to have to start **** with MIDI THRU messages, since you're trying to go from the keyboard thru mpc thru sound module and into cubase. cubase is nice because you can easily choose what midi in/out you want to use.
