Loading

I`m from Brazil, sorry about my bad english.
Well, i just got the MPC 1000 with 128 RAM memory, and i got a 1GB CF.
I`m trying to load samplers from the CF to MPC, but some samplers appears "wrong file". I think the problem is size.
What is the maximum size off a sampler that i can load?

your problem is not with the size of the file. it has to do completely with the sample format. it has to be 16bit 44100 wav format. you can not load mp3's, AIFF or any other format than what i just mentioned.

I'm folowing those settings:
WAV 44.1/16 Bits and I realized that bigger samples (400K) appears "wrong file". And i tooked the same samplers and cut in half and then the MPC start loading it.
There are some limit?

no, there aren't any limits (in a sense) do you have the 128mb upgrade? if so, then i can tell you that I loaded a 45 mb sample, actually, i loaded a whole song and chopped it in mpc

Well, i do have the 128 mb upgrade. I realy don't know what is going wrong...
Do you think that can be something about the name of the files, or the organization of the folder? Do you are used to load a folder or just the samples should work?

as far as samples, i don't have any methods of loading. i don't put my samples in folders or anything.

what program are you using to convert your samples to wav?

I'm using Pro tools. Bouncing on wav / 44.1 / 16 bits
