is there something wrong with my 60... why the fukk is it sampling so damn low... and i get all this damn fuzz... i know its 12 bit but its alot of damn fuzz...

What kind of fuzz? Like glitchy somthing might be wrong digitally kind of fuzz or distorted like somethings wrong with my connection type fuzz?

also make sure your gain switch next to your rec input is set to high.

i dont know.... its not coming out loud at all... im sampling from my turn into my mixer than the 60.. and i got the switches all teh way up and it sstill aint coming out loud.. and its a little fuzzy

Hit the drum mix button and hit option 1 check to see all the levels are high use the down arrow to control the volumes.

damn.... i tried pluggin the turn straigh into the mpc60 and turn the gain all the way up... and when i sample and hit the playback button it sounds like shit and all low anf distorted... wtfffff

yes...the levels arent going up high enough.. they arent even reaching half across teh screen....they were going alot higher when i was using my mixer but it wasnt coming out that good.. wuts up with this sh!t

it mite be a good idea to donwload a disk like the 808 kit from http://www.rogerlinndesign.com/downloads/tr808.zip
then load it iinto the 60 and see if the output levls are cool. Its an old machine and it will take some getting used to mines a strait hoopty bro rust and all misisn hub caps n shyt.

Ha ha, nah man, set the gain switch to medium, and turn the volume knob up all the way, go through your mixer into the sample input only. I use one og them two RCA to Mono 1/4 inch adapters to sum left right into mono, that might get it louder, and on my sample screen my record gain is usually set between 40-60, never higher. The High Gain switch can cause distortion, that might be the fuzz you are talking about.

You did notice the record gain parameter on the sample screen didn't you?

nah... i was sampling into the return ins and thats why everything was **** up.. i just thought it was wierd that there was only 1 rec. in... so i didnt fukk with it at first.... i threw it in rec. in and it works perfect now... this thing sounds amazing...cant wait to get that 3.10 so i can sample over 5 sec...

is this different from the 'record level?' my record level is always set at the default setting of 95 and my samples sound perfectly fine. i never change this setting.
