bringin out vocals over a sample

does ne1 have ne tips on somehow making just the vocals come in stronger over a sample so the oringal track is less appearant , using just the mpc1000??

Are you taking about vocals already in the sample or putting vocals over the sample?

Try filters to filter out some lows. Also sometimes vocals and/or the instruments wil be panned to the left or right, if it is then they will be easier to extract.

Also you can use a parametric EQ. I know FLstudio has one and sound forge also. THE FILTERS work. Try to find the acapella or the instramenta to the song. that may help also...........................

Some chorus + EQ + compression or any combination of those three on either / or both should help. You need to experiment until you find what your think sounds good.
