Hello,
This is my first post!
I was wondering if anyone knew of a software app or a process by which a person could bring MPC sequences into another sequencer short of doing the usual rigamarole of synching the sequencer to the MPC and (mullti-) recording the various MIDI tracks.
I'm trying to import MPC1000 tracks into MotU DigitalPerformer (DP). DP synchs very well to the MPC and I can directly record MIDI just fine, but, given that the MPC mounts as a drive and I can "see" the sequence files, I was wondering if there might be a more direct route. It would certainly be a time-saver.
I primarily use the Macs for music, though I also have some PCs with audio capabilities (i.e., if there's an app that'll take as input MPC files and [accurately] export MIDI files, I don't care if it's Mac or PC).
Thanks!
Iver
