I recently tried sampling through the digital in for the heck of it but i noticed that when I do it slows down the sample's speed and pitches it down. Its not really a problem but just wanted to know if it hapens with anybody else. I'm sampling from the cable box's digital out.

your cable box is prolly sending out 48kHz audio, the mpc is 44.1kHz, this would result in the audio being pitched down

yeah that sounds like whats happening. I though the mpc could only work with 44.1khz signals....
