i am still using 1.06 as an os.
PNY is the brand of card i use.

i use recycle (and sometimes soundforge) and i've never had any click issues. both transferring wavs through the mpc usb, as well as using a card reader.

you might want to check if you are saving extra data with the wav when editing on your computer. sometimes programs will have an option to include program specific info to the wav (loop points, markers, etc....). see if maybe unclicking that option might help.

a friend of mine had the same issues with file corruption and actually not being able to save to his card at all. it turned out one of the directories on his card was causing the problem. and if i remember correctly it was because of an invalid filename (filenames can only be a certain length). might want to see if you have any longass filenames creeping around on your card.

good luck.

that's all good stuff, thanks punchdrunk!

now if only somebody could help us with the fx being wack.....

bit grunger was the biggest dissapointment!!!

if only there was a way they could cram the roland sp-303's effects into the 1000.....sigh.

That does not seem like it would be too much trouble!
I think the effects routing is just silly. There is not enough CPU available to put different effects on each pad. Resamplig is the only thing that is really usable IMO. I actually like the Master Bus Compressor sometimes! Super cool when cracnked to crazy ratios.
