setting a loop to a sequence.....

How can I set a loop to a track and play it as a sequence, repeatedly?

I'm not sure to understand what you mean, but I'd say that you have several options:
You can loop the sample in the "trim" program. Then, play it all over your sequence by pushing the correspondent pad continuously. I never do that, personally. I'd rather record the sample consecutively as many times as needed in the sequence (fo example: 2 times for a 4 bar sequence and 2 bars sample). I find this way more flexible.
If I somehow answer your question, I can give you some other advice, if I haven't, sorry for the wasted time.

I'm trying to use the MPC as a groove box, like the use of the MC-909, MC-505 ecc...... I already found out how to loop a sound from the 'trim'

I tried to record the sound in a sequence, but it didn't come good

Sometimes timestretching the sample will make the sound fit in more rather than just changing the tuning. Like Max, I never hardly use the loop function. I prefer to bang on the pads instead of using the loop function.
