hi there.

i've already used the search function but had difficulty finding an answer.

i'm in the uk and have just bought the awesome blue box.

i require a 1/4 inch phone x 2 unbalanced cable so i can hook it up to my amp (my stereo system's aux) and the usb cable to connect to my laptop.

i can't seem to find a website selling them. there's so many different types of usb connectors its hard knowing whats the one i need. (yeh, i referred to the manual).

thanks for your help,
tee.

the thing is, the usb slot at the back of the mpc isn't a standard usb slot which any of my other usb cables fits into.

this is a totally standard USB slot like you would use for a printer or scanner, etc. Just go to Dixons or somewhere like that and pick one up for £1. It should be flat and rectangular at one end (PC end) and a sort of square with two corners chopped off at the other end (MPC end).

To be honest you should just get a CF card reader. It makes working a lot quicker. they are about £10.

agree with you. so many people complain of this usb connection.

Tee -> i recall answering one of your threads about the speed of the usb link where I posted a link to the reader i baught on ebay for a fiver or so.
i guess you must really want to avoid a card reader

ive ordered a card reader but it's taking a while to come in the post.

i was getting confused after looking at my digital camera's usb cable, which was a mini plug.
