Cannot Find Internal CD Drive

Sup guys, just received my MPC4K and of course it was loaded with the ancient OS1.16... So the first thing I wanted to do was update it to at least OS1.7, but after opening the Internal CD Drive, pressing load, all I see is the HD and no CD... I check over the manual and going to the format page, still only see the HD... WTF is up?

I also noticed it will not eject after loading the CD... Had to physically do a hard eject to get to the CD... So something is defintely up...

Haven't opened the unit up or nothing yet, just hope maybe it's simply an OS issue?

just turn the wheel in the load menu to select either hd or cd

yeah and try the eject button that's on the screen, f2 or something, not just the one on the front down by the cd rom, cuz that one will work. Don't pry the door off for god's sake!!!
