I was recently fidling with the Blue Box program and ran across a strange reaction from the 1000. After I put together the program and transfered it to MPC I tried out a basic sequence of loops and layering. Once the Loop is completed and play back begins the sounds turn into white noise, and react almost like a stuck MIDI note.

Im not sure what is causing this.. I thought it might have something to do with conflicting note triggers so i set up the program again on the free note names..then updated the programs still the same responce.

2nd question will Blue box auditition sounds that are not in the correct sample rate or bit depth. most of the programs sounds play fine on the pads

Im kinda stumped

OK the plot thickens I have been working with some samples and as I arange the tracks on play back I have a sample that is a bar long and it is only being reproduced as A click. I have read all through the FAQ what is going on here?

I set up the 1K so it doesnt auto load the internal memory...So i dont see why it wouldnt be able to reproduce the sample in time. Is it posible for a sample to clip the MPC?

Help anyone

find a fellow musician in your area.. they are all over the place.. talk to him and have him look around then show you whats up.. if you find him or her it will be way more rewarding in the long run than ish anyone on this board can give you.

are you sure that all your samples are 16bit 44kHz (right click in zindows to know that) ?
also maybe check the loop settings for the problematic samples.
