sample cuts at the end?`

hecto -> maybe if you can upload somewhere on the internet the sequence + samples which create problem. this way i can try on my mpc and let you know if i get the same problem as you have.

sounds very odd though...

tiger -> that's sounds similar, but i don't have a midi keyboard and sounds
are not kinda cancelled, the long sample just wont play to the end, otherwise

ok, i got it. you can fix your problem by triming the end of all your drum hits. they all have a lot of silence.
even if you don't hear it, it is still playing a silence and using all the polyphony (specially the cowbell which is in poly).

so no problem with the mpc

ha! W T F, i got a sample cutting out just now. well, earlier today that is

i sampled my microkorg doing an arpeggiator thing with a long filter sweep. the recorded sample was about 15 bars. this was not being triggered by midi, only by me playing the keyboard.

so i sampled it and laid it into a track. it plays fine when i just play the pad and hold it down, letting the long sample play through.

but when i put it onto a track in my sequence, which doesnt even have that much going on, it cuts out every time at the exact same spot. like right after bar 3 starts. the decay value in step record mode is definitely long enough for the whole sample to play thru. but it cuts out anyway, and really early at that.

im stumped. **** lame!
