You say that music is not to blame, it's bad parenting, it's this, it's that.. you ran the gamit of outside influences both ancient and new, that contribute to this little girl acting the way she does. Music is just another one of those influences. I didn't say it's the sole contributer to her actions, but I wasn't trying to ellaborate on that ether. The fact that she some how has exposure to that music is irrelevant, cause' if that negative message wasn't there to begin with, she wouldn't be getting influenced by it.

Just cause you can manage to shelter you and yours, doesn't mean the virus is going away. And unlike your cousins, their is a ton of kids out there getting influenced.

I'm a product of music. I know this. Anyone whos been listening to any type of music, especially music with lyrics like Metal, Rap, etc. Knows they are a product of what they listen too. You can deny that shit all you want, your a liar if you say otherwise.

His sound has suffered because of the transition, and thats no question yo.

And to clearify, I don't think I ever made a point of saying 12-bit samplers are a nesscessary to make tight cuts.

Heres a great analogy to stress the point i've been trying to make from jump in regards to Pete "Rock"ing an SP, then switching up to an MPC:

Lets say you to to McDonalds, and you get the BigMac combo. You've been getting that BigMac combo the past 10 yrs. Every Monday, you count on that same great taste. Then one Monday you go there, and the frys are replaced with some seasoned criss-cuts, and the BigMac hamburger is now a BigMac soy-burger. Now, your going to be pissed because your thinking, "man, wtf!? Why did they switch it up? It's unnessaccary, the formula was perfect already! This new BigMac burger and frys is whack!"

Thats how I feel about Petes beats right now, not Pete the man.

Btw. My beef isn't with MPC's or 12-bit vs. 16-bit. It's with Petes switching up drum machines..
