just baught a MPC2000 :D :D

just baught an MPC 2000 for less than £300 and i was just wondreing if i was to read thing on this websites such as tutorials n stuff for the 2000XL would they apply for the 2000 also? if that makes sense

Congrats on your purchase. For the most part they are the same machine, but there are some differences. You can go to www.mpc2000xl.com and you can read what things are different between the two. If you have any questions do some searching on this site. Also read the newbie section to begin with it really helps. Have fun!!

yeah it is a good site! you ever read the samplecraze tutorials? I got the Eq e-book to its good.

with the 2000 would i be able to connect it to the PC and use the sounds from FL Studio 4? Is there any way this is possible? and also to save some sounds from FL to the MPCs memory?

i think you can do that, but im only qualified to answer mpc specific questions, because computers bug me out

ill tell you this...if the sounds on Fl are .wav format...you can use them. you'll have to find a way to transfer the files to disk or something so you can load them up on the mpc, but you can definately do it!

but one word of advice.....forget fruity loops. you have an mpc now

not really, he has the best of both worlds, hardware and software. combine the 2 of them you'll find some things are quicker and better on the MPC, and vice versa.
