I feel like I am getting nutty here... I have read and re-read the manual. Poked everywhere on the OS. Searched this forum...

I cannot figure out how to change the volume of the click track??? With many programs it is fine, but I have a few that are very loud, and so the click needs to come up in volume when using those programs.

Can anybody point me the way to do this simple task???

simple, you cant.

well, i have heard that if you have a mixing desk, you can output one of the extra stereo outputs, that wont have anything assigned to it straight to the mxiing desk, amplify it, and its just the click.

you can on the 2kxl, i think you pressed the orange button on something,
surely you can do it on the 1000?

on the 1k you can not change the volume of the click and you can not change the sound of the click.

it's a bit of a pain but you can just set up one pad as a click. like a rimshot or whatever, put it on the quarter notes and there is your loud click. it's a pain in the butt yeah but what else can you do --- i was in the same situation recently. i needed a seriously loud click. ended up layering 4 sounds on the click pad just to get it to where i could hear it over this mega loud PGM
