question about midi keyboard in relation to the 4000

say i sample a bass tone on the 4000, i can then turn on the 16 levels and change the tuning of the bass sample to make a nice bass line. but i was wondering if u can send that sample out to a midi keyboard to play it from there. when i have the 16 levels on it does not send all those to my keyboard is there any way to do this? i hope i made some kinda sense.

You wouldn't send the sample out to the midi keyboard. You use the midi keboard to "trigger" the sound in the mp. Just creat a program using your bass sample and you have the whole range of notes to play fom the keyboard.

Probably not. But I think he's more concerned about pitch control than velocity. A keyboard is perfect for this.

Dude, I just told you it was possible. There's no need to use 16 levels (pitch) when using a keyboard.

Why not? Maybe people prefer to play a bass "drum" -program with the keyboard
