protools 001 rack and mpc 2000 (not xl) question

I have a MPC 2000 and a 001 rack for protools. On my MPC 2000 is has a stereo out. My question is do I connect the RCA plugs to the stereo out and hook it up to my protools

I know this sounds like a dumb question but I just purcahsed the equipment?

yeah that will work i did that with my protools 002 board and my XL

I would go get some extra fresh 1/4" plug if I was you..........

...I'd also use the 8 MPC outputs if you have them.

I would def get the 8 out option board especially in combination with the 001 rack.
