I need to download a Freesoftware that will allow me to record from the 1/8 inch line input jack on the back of the computer into the harddrive. i went to download.com all i need is the name of a FREEsoftware that can do this.
I want to burn my tracks to cd. My roomates computer is retarted it has a 1/8 inch Line input but no software to support recording to the harddrive. I thought every basic computer had that, i think it got erased. Then i will be able to "resample, bounce down all my effects. I need to be able to record my sound module, its sequenced on the MPC but the MPC cannot play the sequence and record the sound module at the same time i cant make layers like i start a bassline i cant add piano because the soundmodule can only play one patch at a time. so i will record it to the computer then sample back to the mpc.

any freeware sound editor you download wont be anything to scream over. i can bet that. but cool edit offers a demo version. dont know what your limited to, but cool edit pro had a pretty tight demo. you could only save for 30 days though...

Audicity, will do fine and it's freeware.
