Pads -> aftertouch -> program

Cmon peeps, HOW do YOU play the programs with aftertouch from the pads??
MANUAL IS SILENT
...Ive tried every combination in the mod pg.... NO luck

Some manual slut that knows how to do this? Wasnt there some fella who spend his holidays inside the manual under the sun on the beach? Dude, share your knowledge! ... Oh wait, it aint IN the manual

so you dont know either btw, cant you figure out the stereo chorus yourself than? If you know how a chorus and phazer works, you know how to set it up in the program pg. Tho I do know what aftertouch is and know that the pads do send out aftertouch cause Altopiano ( <- whats up with these links, mpc-tutors ? ) did it... But I cant figure it out in the darn manual Maybe Im dumb than...

Damn just now I did a search and found several articles about this in the thread archives by Adrian and others inside of a minute. If you would use the noggin you could find it. as for aftertouch: get the do(ee)pest minimoog saw you got on your hd and let those pads furt according your pressure ...

there are some things you gotta set first. (please anyone correct me if i m wrong)

basically there r 2 types of aftertouch ... channel and poly (you select the type in prog - misc.)

- the 4k sampler engine is able to respond to both - channel and poly pressure data.

- the 4k sequencer is able to record both too ...

- but the 4k pads are able to sendout poly pressure data only (which you gottta set to on in misc mode (send pad pressure as poly pressure data). if i wanna use channel i gotta use my keyboard (most keyboards sendout only channel whilst not poly)

so to let your pads furt you gotta send out poly pressure data (set to on in misc mode), whilst to let your keyboard furt you gotta sendout channel from your keyboard (in case activate it on your module). then select the respective type in pgm misc (channel or poly). then open up mod matrix and set aftertouch to whatever you like ... (ps: the 4 lp furts nicely ...)

ps: question: my module responds to channel prss data only. if i wanna use the pads to control my modules aftertouch, which i would love to do ... is not possible, or is there a way?

So this means that all this time all you guys had to say was; "check the global misc pg and look for the pads sending out poly pressure messages"
