and messin up all my hard work. Its been happening about every hour to half an hour. My feeling is that there's dust that's shorting everything out. Anyway, any tips you have to fix would be greatly appreciated. Also, should I just get it overhauled? Is there anywhere in NYC that will overhaul it?

A good MPC will not freeze...I literally leave mine on for months and it freezes maybe once a month, if that...and I make tonz of beats, like 5-7 at a time...so, if your's is freezing up, it's either the O.S. or you need to take it back. Because if the MPC is good, it won't freeze...What is the exact action you are performing when it freezes?

and I've almost never had a problem. I used to leave it on for weeks at a time. You think it could be the OS?

Thanks for the help.

and I've noticed that Im generally in trim mode when it happens or moving the data wheel very fast. I think the data wheel may be shorting everything out. Could dust do that?

I've had the same problem throughout the years ...I'm not absolutely sure what's causing it to freeze, but it maybe the OS itself or even the drive. It doesn't do it frequently but every once in a while it'll freeze up. If anyone knows a solution please hit us up.

Pcs freeze due to bad cooling.
Bad RAM results in Bsods, which are also bad, but not freezes....
