That's cool D. I got some Tavares. I think the main loop in 50's Many Men is from a Tavares record. Not 100% sure about that, but I'm pretty certain. I got it somewhere.

You might be able to clear stuff right through him, just be like, yo a percentage of sales or whatever if you make some heat. Sample the shyt out of that stuff and see if you wanna ask. Might give him a new view on sampling when he hears you do your thing...

i was told that creamy spies from digable planets is from their record. definitely one of my favorite loops on that album but i never went digging for that tavares joint so i cant bee 100% on it

Love digable planets man, I wish I could find my cd's of theirs.

I really don't feel them at all. they have some of the worst song lyric I've heard from a soul group in that era. The miracles (post-smokey) are right behind them as well when it comes to song writing.
