How can i Copy R to L??

Ive sampled with my mic into the rec in.
Ive got the sample recorded on the R phone only.
Now how do i copy that, and paste it into the L phone, so that when i play it i can hear it on both R & L?

resample it so that you have 2 of the same samples, in your sample edit page you can turn 2 mono samples into 1 stereo sample.

where di i go exactly for that?
ive tried the resample and the merge option but i dont see any options on panning.

You can use the mono to stereo edit in sample edit. It`s in the manual.

Wouldn't it be smart to just turn it to a mono file?

nah, its not that its mono. the sound is only being heard on the RIGHT SPEAKER. ONLY.

Check your mixer page, program Kg page and or effect pages to make sure the outs is set right.

ok, let me re-fraze. How do i copy from the R onto the L??

But if you were to copy R to L, wouldn't you still be creating a mono file anyway?

yes, a mono file that can be heard on both headphones. thats wat iam trying to do, to get it to play on BOTH headphones.

u got sound forge?? anyway if u do open the file in that...highlight it then copy
open a new blank wave
paste it should then come out in both channels

nah i got a mpc4k. cant the 4k do that? thats like one of the simplest functions man. iam starting to think the 4k is rubbish.

dasoef .... recheck bh answer. in sample mode press edit and scroll over to .... dunno - mono to stereo or somethin - not in front of 4k atm .... but ya can do both ... transform a mono signal into a stereo (choose l an r same mono sample) .... than you got a st sample which in case afterwards ya can split up again in its l and r parts. hth

you probably recorded the vocal as a stereo file.


you could re-record vocal as a mono file, then it should play in the middle of the stereo field until you pan it otherwise.

or, you cold press the sample button.
then highlight the sample you want to edit.
then press f2 to get into the trim edit page.
then press f5 to bring up dsp functions.
then scroll to the 14th dsp function(stereo to mono)
then press f6 to execute command(you will have to rename samples before you execute.



once you change your sample into a mono sample, you should hear it in the middle of your stereo field.

i dident record it as audio
my mic has 1 output. which i put into the rec in R, behind the mpc.

how can i hear it in 1 headphone only if i recorded it as sterio? u stupid afghan.
