LOL well i cant complain at all, The motif has better organic sounds, the fantom has better synths.
Also the fantom has a dope sampler the filters on the fantom are amazing. As well as the sound editing abilitites
the fantom XR also has a CF card reader. I just installed a card reader in my MPC. SO i can transfer samples back and forth between my MPC and my fantom rack. Add crazy effects to drums, filter samples etc..
Sometimes i also run the audio from my motif, threw the fantom to get some crazy ass effects.
ITs a very flexiable set up.
But as with any setup, u gotta have the talent to use it, i feel i do

well i just love my 1K i sample w/ protools and chop w/ recycle its the shit !! but now its time to upgrade (tax return money/ now or never because i am about to go to school full time Expression Center>B.S. in sound design Oakland Cali) so my question is should i sell all my shit and upgrade to 4k or get a xr to go w/ my 1k iam mos def a sample based producer so i am feeling the xr's sampler to rock w/ 1k/iMacG5 drag and drop flash card BIATCH! HOLLA!
