Connecting all my equipment?? Question??

Okay lets see I have a MPC 2000xl, Triton, and Pro-Tools LE. But what really discourage me from pursuing to use my MPC was the fact that I always have unplug my triton outputs from the inputs of the 001 and plug the MPC's outputs when i need to use it. I always track my sounds out seperately and the 001 only has eight inputs and obviously between my Triton and MPC there's more to plug in. How/What should i do to keep all my equipment connected all together? Not to mention i hate the wear and tear on plugging and unplugging my shit!! Any suggestions, solutions, idea's??

get a mixer with a 8 subs and enough inputs to accomodate your mpc and your triton. connect the 8 subs to the 8 ins of your digi 001.

I know this may sound stupid, but what do you exactly mean when you say 8 subs. And yeah, i forgot to mention I do have a mixer but I only run the main on both my Triton/MPC to a channel on my mixer. Its the outputs that I run to the digi 001.

WELL HERE IS AN OPTION THAT YOU MAY TRY, THIS IS HOW I HAVE IT SET UP, FIRST THING MIDI- I HAVE THE TRITON PLUGGED INTO THE MP, AND THE MP'S SECOND MIDI CONNECTION PLUGGED INTO THE DIGI 001, I ALSO HAVE THE TRITON PLUGGED INTO THE COMPUTER VIA THE SERIAL PORT ON THE TRITON,

SO YOU SEE THE TRITON ACTUALLY HAS TWO MIDI OUTS AND INS, YOU NEED A SPECIAL SERIAL CABLE TO DO THIS THAT COSTS $20,

That would be a great choice. Can get the 01v used for about $500 now.

Before I had pro-tools I had the aw4416. would that haved worked?? So if gettin a digital mixer expands the i/0 on a digi 001. Does the digital mixer give you more tracks to record on?? And is that compatible with pro-tools??

Yup. The ADAT interface makes another 8 inputs and outputs available to the 001.
