Don't post much here but I saw my man drumat!c and DJAndreas gettin wild with the sp-12/sp-1200 beat posts around here lately so i said f*ck it, these mpc 60 cats obviously feel the boom bap and theres a lot of 12 bit love in here so ill post somethin...

I still got .6 seconds left of the 5 i started with so I might go back and jack a upright bass stab or somethin from some wax and play with that. *shrugs*. But for now just take it for what it is.

If those direct links dont work then you go to: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/1/jaeone3345_music.htm
Theres some other shit on there you might wanna listen too, beats, remixes, some tracks with my cuts/skratches, etc. Whether it be my sp-12 turbo with some oregon trail sized disks or my laptop with a couple midi controllers, im just trynna make some good hiphop. Hope you enjoy. peace to you cats who still feel that '94 shit.

Hell yeah, show em how its done.

Having the SP music up here really helps get the point across as far as the sound of these machines and the kind of music they can pull out of you.

yeah this shti is proper. Yo where u get your bass sounds for the tracks like jazzy something and the others. that real rich subby bass. do you use a module or are u sampling something?

that snare and piano on jazzy, were those goin through the sp? They sounded too clean to me.

nah, only the track entitled "sp-12 sh*t" is on the sp.

The other stuff is just me on my laptop. Same formula, still diggin, choppin, and sequencing, just on the lap top. no mouse clicking, i rock pad and key controllers on my laptop.

binger: That bass is a simple ass sine wav. I set loop points on it so it loops infinite without a hiccup when i hold the key all the way down. Then you just map this looped sine sample all across the key range and wallah = nice bass synth. I added the loop points with soundforge. i actually learned that on the mpc tutor tutorials a long time ago. lol. It just so happens the sample host I use recognized loop points just as a 2000xl.

I got the sp about a month ago, and I just copped a s950 so yall will be hearin more newschool and oldschool gear love making pretty soon. Copped the sp-12 and the 950 from Lo Pass Filter here on the boards.
