Post up your MPC-3000/ MPC-60 beats!

I've been wanting the 3000/ 60 for the longest but wasn't sure exactly which one I wanted so I thought you guys could probably help me with one thing. If you could, can you state your MPC model then post a link to your beats so I can check them out? I just wanna listen to the difference in sound quality between the 3000 and the 60.
I was almost set on an MPC-60 until my boy told me that he used to own one and sold it cuz he couldn't load up as much samples as he wanted too. What's up with this? He said he'd run out of memory before he could even load up all his percussions or something. For me this is a big problem cuz I build my beats heavily around percussion instruments and I'd like to load up as much instruments as possible.
I have an ASR-10 and will be using that as my main sampler and as a MIDI controller for the MPC and I'll use the MPC as the main sequencer and as the creative center for my drums/percs. so if you have any input on which model I should get, please speak up.

If you don't think being able to load nearly 200 samples on an mpc-60 is not enough then you're on some next level type music production......

the first 3 were made with sp1200/emax

the last 3 were produced on the mpc-60/S950

If you get expanded memory thats not an issue. You will easily load up an entire drumkit no problem. But if you sample with the asr then you dont even have to use the memory in your 60.

yeah, with 26.2 seconds of the 60 I fill up every pad with drums (64) with sample time to spare usually. And for longer samples the ASR is better anyhow, so yeah it seems tight. If you get the 60 you need to get the upgrade, then you can even timecompress the sounds so you get 52.4 seconds of sampling time, but no downtuning when you do that.
Of course, the 3000 has like 6 minutes of sampling time, if you think you need that much, or the filters or the 16 bit sound, then you should go for the 3000.

is an s3000 comparable in raw sound alone to the output of an mpc3000 or is their extra smack on the mpc much like the diff between a 950 and a 60?

also this timecompressing on 3.10 - is it easy and quick to do, and does it affect the sound?

yeah it's pretty quick, and it does affect the sound, it essentially drops the samplerate, mbut then it won't let you tune it down very far afterwards, so you gotta do it on sounds that you don;t want to pitch down at all. It does make it sound a little grittier, but most sounds sound about the same before and after.

I think the S3000 is comparable to the 3000, but the 3000 doesn't really have that distinct of a sound, and the S3000 isn;t too fun to use IMO, with the ASR 10 you are better off.
