sequencing/syncing mpc1000 and motif es 6

I have the above mentioned equipment. Here is my delima... have a sampled guitar riff in my mpc 1000 in track 1, and a bass line and drum track on tracks 2 and 3 in the motif es. I want to either have them play back at the same time out the same speaker or record the tracks from my motif into the mpc. Is this possible. I have them midi'd up I've set the track in the mpc to midi, program to off and midi channel to 1a and 2a for the second track, how would I corrdinate this with the motif....
can I play sounds on my motif and record them in the sequencer of the mpc?

hope this helps. I know you said motif es but the hookup and routing is almost universal.
