I just came from Beat society n it was da truth Nottz was da best out I expected Khrysis 2 be da best but Nottz was 2 much 4 everybody anybody was close was Beatminerz they show why they legends n dat sp1200 is serious Rik Marvel was cool his sound had a mean knock 2 it but............Nottz is da truth

what actually happens at these? Do the beatmakers show off pre-made beats or do they actually make em on the spot? Is it a contest or what?

They're pre-made beats a lotta of have been sold already or bout 2 be sold or is already on albums but majority of of stuff people never heard b4 they sometimes sneak a lot of beats from songs u heard already like Nottz played dat one joint from Ghostface album with da "you will always be" sample n its not a contest its more of a show n prove type of an event just vibing with everybody a lot of independent producers underground artist its not really regular fans like a cool relax enviroment like Bilal was sitting rite next 2 me n Royce 5'9 was posted on da wall 9th wonder walking through da crowd its just people enjoying themselves n self promoting

That was the response diss track to boogie man's masta ace diss track. Ace and Nottz's track was ill....they ripped booger man.

Ace also said some shit in that track about the High and Mighty....what was the story bout that. I know this shit is like 3 years old, if not longer, just curious.

the song is called aknowledge. High and mighty dropped aces name in a song and itwasnt even a diss, but one of aces boys was at a show and misintrepreted the lyric and told ace and ace got all pissed and mad that diss track. They explained to ace after what the lyric really was and they all squashed it. Ace just jumped the gun and wilded out on them without getting all the info.

Nottz definitly was impressive, especially when he did the oompa loompa jawn and took us back to everybody rise. Khrysis did some average stuff in my book, listen to any justus league stuff, its all the same. Beatminerz was crazy too especially durin the sample round. Def give props to rick marvel too.
