Hi there!

I have a problem with my mpc...or thats what i think!!!...
I have been trying to get new 100MB zips disks for my machine, cause thats the way i use to save my projects, but people tell me they are now out of stock...so if thats true...could anyone help to find a new way to save my projects...I have thought to buy a external hard disk or something like that, or maybe conecting my mpc with my computer and save them all in its hard disk...the conection of the mpc is scsi...all the ideas will be great!
So thats my big problem mates...i hope it isnt so big as i think!
Thanks for all!

An external harddrive is not a bad idea but 100mb zips are all over the place especially on ebay.

TRY EBay or a Backstock computer store try searching the net for computer stores that sell them. Im not really sure but if you get a cd rom with scsi you cant save programs or trim points you would have to retrim all samples that would not workout. if you can that would be cool because cds hold 74minutes of samples 100mb zip hold much less but they cant get scratched. Or try a JAZ drive, or 250zip. Thats why this sucks you buy an MPC they provide you with 50 pin scsi what else can you use without spending big $$ i dont know anyone that has SCSI for there computer you would think it would be easier/cheaper to connect straight to a computer harddrive i mean a computer costs way more than a zip drive and thats what people have computers for is memory. I bought my MPC in early year 2000 i had to go to a ghetto used computer store to find the 100mb Mac scsi zip drive(already obsolete less than 1 year after 2kxl was released) and cable it was somewhat new but didnt have the original box, i was very happy i just spent $2199 for the studio plus 8 outs digital, effects without a $120 zip drive and cable i would kill myself. It also pisses me off that you cant buy the 32 mb memory already factory installed i did it at guitar center but now my jog wheel is very loose its real hard to move it just one click and its barely crooked from taking it all apart and installing the memory, The screws were so 'f' ing tight they almost got stripped.
