updating the OS has frozen my MPC 2000XL? WTF ???

Basically all I did ( WHY I did is the real question, just for the freakin sake of updating..) was update the OS to version MPC2X120, the newest one , and now.. MY MPC WILL NOT WORK.. a second ago I thought I had it , but it came up with The "seq. run, step, memory " boxes and jumbled letters and numbers..

I have no idea what happened just for simply updating but I am pissed and now worried my sh!t is fuc'd up.. has anyone had this isse and figured it out..?

When you installed the new OS did you follow the instructions set in the manual? It is important to do exactly what the manual says.

The best solution is to go back to OS1.14 - which should be available at akaipro.com .

Maybe the file you tried to install was corrupt?

Mine froze up when installing OS 1.2. I tried it again and it worked fine.
Now, I really don't see the need for switching 1.2 since I have had no problems with 1.14 and my Zip 250.
