Must be my lucky day.....again!!!!

The mail man in my area said he found a bunch of records on his route. All he only wanted out of the bunch was a few 45's, and he said he would give me the rest. So i just got one of those mail crates filled with about 75 45's !!! Some good stuff in there. I also have another friend around here who had the same thing happen to him. So i swiped that crate also.

A lot of 80's, but all original. No re-issue, and 90% of em are 45's.

and a bunch of other crap. Still going through em'. Plus, if anyone is into old metal, or rock, or death metal, or whatever the hell it is, i got some import stuff along with the pile. I highly doubt i will be listening to em', so i guess you can say they are up for grabs. I gotta check the prices first though.

80s vinyl is dope, I got a bunch of old 45 and LP's from the 80's, if you listen to the albums, they actually made albums the whole record is an experience, not a collection of small experiences.

I should be getting some old 60 & 70's soul and jazz in the mail soon too. Right Jeam??

im just glad i didnt have to pay for em. free is the best price. and i found a few good samples so far. i guess ill just add em to the collection. yo, the line for that stretch and bob was hilarious. we didnt even go in.

yes .... I love all this stuff. Talking Heads "Remain In Light" is one of my all time favourite albums, plus the album that Brian Eno & David Byrne did together at this time: "My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts". & the opposite end of the spectrum too from that era: Shalamar, Lakeside, Dynasty .... all that Solar Records stuff from LA. "Billie Jean"-era Michael Jackson. Early Prince. Not forgetting all those electro records on labels like Tommy Boy about Pac Man & breakdancing in outer space.

i always sample 80's stuff. and digging through these, i came across an ILL ASS drum break.

I don't know, man. I have to be strong and admit I'm a Devo fan. Their first two albums (first one 1979 - produced by Brian Eno) were like experimental art punk with a twisted sense of humor. Cool shtt IMO.
Then after that they had Whip It, it was all down hill from there.
Sidenote...I actually met a couple of those guys once. Nice enough guys.
