Version 3.10 Manual...

http://www.google.com/url?sa=U&start=8& ... .pdf&e=912

Also....check your gain setting on the rear of your mp....be sure its not set to HIGH....WILL distort!!!!

I have mine set to LOW...Get great results!

good luck!!!

Yeah, set the switch in the back to "low" and have the stereo volume knob all the way up. On my 60, sometimes I have to gently jiggle or twist the 1/4" jack going to the "rec in" before I get clean, undistorted sound.

How much memory you got? Maybe you thought you had more than you do? You sould be able to adjust sample time by just selecting that specific parameter in the 'sample new sound' screen and twisting the data knob or typing numbers with the numerical keypad. Don't forget to hit 'enter' after you select the correct amount of time.

The 60 should be a breeze...

If you boot with a floppy in the drive it will load the PGM and use up sample time, maybe all of it if the conditions are right.

actually the 60 is probably the easiest mpc to use. Straight forward and simple. I can't wait to flowers with one again.

hahaha...nah man...I'm going back to using the 1k. That's the machine I started on and the most comfortable I'm with. I rocked a 60 before at my boys crib and made about 3 beats on it. I used just the 60, a mixer, turntable and wax. The 60 only had 750k memory too. It was mad fun. I had to find samples that fit in the beat as is because of the absence of filters and other gear, but it was fun that way. The beats came together real fast.
