i always had it on low ever since i bought the machine, but it doesnt seem to make that much difference. just have to crank the red knob a little higher.

i have mine at MID, but sometimes i spend like forever messing with my source and input volumes before sampling... maybe i should experiment too a bit...

I change mine depending on the kind of sample I am trying to get... the input gain on the 60 is pretty lo-fi and I find that the more of it that I use (instead of the clean gain from my board) the dirtier the sample. That input also overdrives very easily.
