Im some of a newbie, not really because i started making computer base'd music with a triton and protools...but anyway, Ive just about gave up on computers when i was in my boyz studio and got the chance to finally play with an MP...so no im looking at getting one...but i was wonderen if you can chop samples on a mpc 2000, (short of like recycle)
I know for sure you can do it on the xl model, it will really help me come to a final decesion between the 2k an 2kxl..

yeh you can do it. the 2000xl has a specific function called " ZONE " which is like recycle. um on the 2000 classik you have to chop em up manually and save each sound out and then assign. with the 2000xl you dont have to the zone feature does this automaticly.....
