yeah i thought the 60ii was white until i got it and saw it was grey...flash photography to blame i guess.

i'd like it white, or black (it doesnt matter if its black or white lol)

if anyone has an legit .ai file for the 60ii i'd love to get hold of it - also anyone that has painted/disassembled a 60ii before - did they make it easier to pull apart than a mk1, and whats the 411 on longterm painted plastic durability?

thanks

COOLIO thanks for the hookup on the info about the paint that was exactly what I wanted to know about? I just need to find some one who can.

1. Sell me a template for the TEXT for 60II or someone who can inform if decals or stickers are better to use for that.

2. If anyone thinks getting the MPC Airbrushed would be cool? I think I say one at FORAT that looked air brushed (the light blue with the palm tree on it)
what do you guys think?

I wish people focused more on using their MPC than trying to figure out what to paint on it.

This whole trend is beyond me.

It would be dope if forat or whoever did like a restoration for the 60, mines has some scars, a little rust, and a few chips & bruises I wouldn't mind payin that money (if I had it) to take my 60 to like new condition with pads, pad sensor, paintjob and original sig and lettering.

I really like your 60 Djames, probably one of the only non standard 60's I actually like, the color just works real well.

I can understand the painjobs on the XL's and @k's because they are so popular, plus it's a bit easier to remove the cover for a paint job than a 60 II, so you don;t have to think so hard on it. But to each there own indeed.

itd be kinda cool if forat can repaint exactly as it comes new. give brand new feel to a 15 year old machine.

i loved the look of those fully chrome mpc's when i first saw them, but chrome doesn't really work too well because of the reflecting. if it was all dipped in chrome it would shine a lot and it would most likely start to get on your nerves after a few hours. especially if your place has a lot of lights.

El, I ain't trippin man, you know Dove had already painted this joint when I got it. I probably would'nt have f'ed with the 60 because of what you said about the cover man that thing is a b!tch to remove.
