60 fever gotta get it!!

i gotta get a 60, had a 2kxl sold it been shinin my dj skills but the theres a hole in my heart for the mpc...imma sell some ish and grip that 60...

i had a 2kxl and just got a 60 recently... well 2 actually.. both great condition...its alot easier to work with because everything is basically on a button.. i thought there was a lot of un needed options on teh 2kxl that i never used... 60 has everything you need plus you get great sound and a almost invincible machine...

oh, and i am selling a mk2 in great condition...pics and everything check link..better get it before it goes on ebay again sunday...peace

The best thing about the 60 is that things are layed out so well that you just do your thing, like second nature. Do you think when you breath? You just breath

i had a 60 for a minute... I liked the machine overal.. but I didnt like how it loaded sounds (coming form a 2K/1K series background)... how u gotta choose where that sample is ognna be on that pad... like on the others.. u can have it stored in memory and press program and press a pad u want it on.. on the 60 u gotta dial the pad (with the big dial) you want the samplke assigned too.. i thought that was a hassle.. but u get used to it.. also the lack of any filters. and some other lil stuff like only a mono input for sampling.

you wont have to press open windo on evrything to find the functions. 60 with os upgrade is alot nicer to use than any 2000 in my opinion. ive made beats with both.

you also won't have to spend all day eq'ing your drums to make them hit harder...the 60 does that naturally.

Melle Mel, that's the Old OS, the updates OS is just like the 3000, you just hit the pad and it becomes the active.

The old OS is such a different animal and the upgrade so great, that most of us here are talking about the upgraded OS, that's what really makes the 60 one of the best ever. a 12 bit sampler with an OS writen in 97, no 12 bit sampler can say that.

Not that the XL is real complicated, but the 60 is really easy to work with. So quick to do what you want to do especially when you get used to everything.

nope, you ain't dreaming. Hit ebay and cop a mkII because they are cheaper than the MKI.
