I'm about to copp a carrying case for my 2K. I notice a couple of places carrying the MPC 2000/XL softcase for $60 beans but aint got a damn photo???

I also found this site which got a softcase for $30 beans which seems very worth it. http://www.syntaur.com/mpc_bag.html

But for $60 beans what the hell is that other softcase look like?? Does anyone on here got one? If so hook a brotha up with a photo please.

have one also. After shipping about $40bucks. Only thing i dont like about it is that it doesnt open up like a lap top case. Plenty of storage though

If you're talking about the one from Akai themselves, I got one of those. It's nice. Made of backpack material on the outside. Nice thick padding on the inside. The MPC fits snug in there. It's got a zippered storage pouch on the outside for cords, cables, disks, etc. I only wish the fabric handle was sewn/reinforced better. While it hasnt ripped or anything, it feels like it can come apart over time.

Dawg good looking on the hook ups with the pic. I like how that case looks compared to the one I posted above. Seems more supportive for the MPC 2K/XL design. The other one is more Laptop fitted. This one acts like a hardcase with how it opens and allows the MPC to rest in it. Thanx duke, this answers my question, and looks like I'll be coppin that Akai MPC 2000 Softcase! :D G-d bless.

yeah. no sweat. it has worked great for me. i think i've had it for about 2 years now. don't forget...it does have the nice lil helpful pocket on the front for misc. things.
