Can I find my old quanitze settings

Hey yall, Im going through some old stuff and was wondering if I could find what quantize settings I used for a certain track after I changed it for another track.
Example:
track 1 -- just basic 16th note hihats
track 2 -- the kicks and snares but no remember the data
track 3 -- 16th, swing 54, 4 later.

Is there a way to go through, Im assuming, step edit and find out what settings I used specifically for track 2? I dont mess with step edit that much, so Im a little in the dark. I usually write down my settings but have lost some old notebooks. Also, Im using a classic 2k.

give heads a second sim! someone will respond. Sometimes it takes a little time, thats all. trust me

I would think the only way to find out would be the step edit option....see where each note lands when you go to the next.....

I just tried to figure out a way to do this, didnt come up with nothin good. The only thing I could figure is to do what Boogie suggested.

If the timing is set to 16th notes you can tell the quantize setting by lookin in step edit, every other note will be late by 1 tick for every 2% increase in swing

Clarify "tick" for me, I feel blind here. I know you can find every note in quantize'off' while in step mode, but, in 16ths you won't see any swung notes unless you set it to the exact swing setting you had. So, do you mean 'ticks' in OFF mode or can you see these with a regular 16, etc somehow?

i dug out my XL for this one, it seems that each track does not save the quantize settings u used for each track, it comes down to where u played each note. sorry its just how it was made. in future it might be wise to write notes for each beat.

perfect 16ths fall on .00, .24, .48, etc... if swing were set to 52% it would be .00, .25, .48, etc... the .25 being 1 tick later than .24

to see every tick while in step mode(regardless of the timing) cursor over to the .00 at the top right corner and scroll..........
