Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

When using the 8 outs are you suppose to pan the sounds hard left/right on the mpc or is that only done on the mixer when subgrouping. I ask this question on a previous post but the answer was somewhat confusing. Im about to attempt again to use the 8 outs/mackie 1402vlz again. The first time i did, i was somewhat confused. Thanks

The mpc 2000xl doesn't give you panning so you have to do it with your mixer or souncard. i have a delta 1010 soundcard, and i just set each channels pan to center. I hate that about the 8 outs, but its an easy fix.

When A Stereo Sample is loaded.. you can PAN Both channels (Left and Right) Hard Left, and Hard Right on your Mixer.

When Thats done, you'll notice the panning in your MPC has effect for that Stereo sample..
