im new to the mpc, any one got some techniques for making good drum lines, and good patterns? any advice?

listen, listen, apply, listen more, learn your machine, listen, next time you listen ignore vocals and listen to what producers are doing, I can't say kick here, snare here. You gotta search your soul for that. What makes you happy? Listen.
