on the 1000 when i do the 16 level pitch as the sound gets higher the sample is shorter(obviously), i was wondering because the 2000 has timestrech do the sample lengths stay the same or still get shouter when higher in 16 level pitch?

No timestretching is done on the 2k(xl) when you turn on the 16 level pitch.

the 2000xl not only does not time stretch, it also renders the 16 levels out of tune. only slightly, but definately there. utterly unfixable too since it only tunes to whole numbers, unlike the 1000 which tunes to decimals.

i'd say it would be hardly comparable between the 2. but i own the 2000xl so ill say its better.
