I have a CD player and a separate amplifier to run it thru. I have bought RCA's and attached adapters to fit the MPC. From the Recording In I attached it to the CD player. The Amp is hooked up into Right and Left next to recording in. I tried to sample 10 seconds, it was terrible! Somebody help a brutha out????

Thanks in Advance

In continuing to mess around wit this badass machine, I have attached it directly to my CD player without the use of an amplifier...it is very low...is there a way to increase the volume of the sample?

Dawg make sure you got the right connectors. Sounds like your using poor connectors. Head to your local music store and copp some unbalanced/balanced 1/4 TRS jacks. Get the dual end jacks that have the single jack at the end. And copp a converter jack for the smaller end to fit into larger phono holes.

Also check your volumes. It may be too low.And check the gain on the mpc.
