long one shot samples to stop

how do i stop a long one shot sample from playing until the end?

it depends on how you are trying to stop it. If you mean, lets say, when yopu have a sequence playing, and you stop the sequence and that long sample keeps playing, just tap on the stop a few times (quickly) and that would do the trick.

if you mean during a sequence/song, set the long sample in a mute group with a "dead pad" (pad with no volume) and hit that pad when you want the sample to stop. Turn on the timing correct when you are using the "dead pad" so that it will be exactly where you want it to be.
