You want to know how to make beats? Seriously, no one can tell you how you have to figure out your own style.
Sure you can get yourself some samples, read the manual and start hitting pads but we can't tell you how to go from there.
You need to play with it! If you love the hands on feel, and I LOVE the hands on feel, you'll get it and with practice you'll be makin' your own beats.
