Creating Realistic Sequenced Drum Parts

I read this and found it pretty useful as far as knowing what to use in your drum patterns. Of course I dont think this applies to every track you make, but may help.......

Check any drumfunk dnb artist. Paradox especially. They program drums using chopped funk breaks and the sound is amazing.

this is a pet peeve of mine, as a drummer I hate when I hear production with crash hits with no kick on top.

not true, when you hit your splash cymbal on the & before the 1 usually there is no kick with the splash cymbal hit. this technic is mostly used when you go from the chorus to verse. basically, this technic puts the groove back into the pocket.

yea brah, sorry this is false..... i really hope that this is not what u really believe to be a drummer... u might know that from a drummer u've seen or heard, but not true about all drummers..... theres only one rule to be a drummer and that is there are no rules.... thats sum funny shit though

i just think drums are the foundation. if your drums suck then the beat wont wound very good. thats why i thought this would help a lot of people....

This is a good thread rite here I hope all them computer program users read that site cuz that's who I notice do it they use 8000 kicks and 45 other shit 4 real I blame it on da easiness of loading up sounds and not having a clue I know I'm not a drummer and I know no technical shit so I keep mine simple kick snare hi hat and I get my groove off of spacing
