Just Got an MPC... Zip Drive Question...

sorry if this has been asked a million times but im a newbie... this is my first post and i just got an MPC2000XL. i have experience with beatmaking on PC so all ive been doin for the past week is messin around with the drum pads and making little sequences (still needs work)

my question is:
Is it better that i install an internal Zip Drive or an external one. i figured if i used an external one, i can relay samples i have on PC to the MPC and vice versa. which method of zip installation is mostly used and recommended.

Both are used alot. I use Installed 250 and it serves me fine..
I also transfer from PC to MPC to PC but I use a PC formatted disk for transfer ONLY. MPC formatted disk for beatmaking/saving ONLY....

I say get the internal one....i'll be well worth it for you though if you do decide to get the external one, make sure you keep it hooked up to the MPC at all times cause it doesnt take much for the scsi fuse to blow and you really cant get those fixed.....
