More than enough in most cases . I don't want to be a d*ck about it but before someone else posts, use the search funtion to find old posts containing your answer .

Peace

Some are just SO reluctant to read manuals and I don't know why.

I'll second you on that. I'm actually excited about reading manuals of new gear when I get it
(I remember reading the MPC2kxl manual on the way to the seller a bunch of years ago cuz i was so hyped...)
Sad thing is,... You know they come back with more easy questions. I've seen this on several forums.
Even worse is actually, if you're too lazy to read a manual, you'll probably be too lazy to make a proper beat.
This aint kindergarden!

32 mb is a lot, especially if u sample some things in mono. Ask some of the the SP12/1200 and S900/950 dude's. Man u can do alot with just 12 seconds. Dont get me wrong I got my 1000 loaded to 128 but I used to squeeze out nice ish with 12 Sec.

I'm joking with you dude, it is in the manual though, I actually went and made a beat just like you told me too, and the pads on my 2kxlse2, they feel so NIICEEE, I haven't made a beat in a while so you had a good point that I didn't actually have a comeback to, so I took my a$$ to the lab and got busy with it. It's all good big man.
