yo, i made some drum kits for my boy with mpc editor and i exported the sounds and program in mpc 2000 format, he said he can only load like 3 of the disk i made in their entirety and like a few sounds from the other disk, and he keeps getting "can't open file" or "disk read error'

i made all the disk the same way, any thoughts on what the problem could be, should i jus put the wavs on a floppy? and let him make the programs himself?

so many reasons for why erm.. I will choose the best one.

1. is the disks/zips formatted as AKAI or DOS?

better have does if your using the MPC editor, infact that program has a function that can fix your disk for you, try that.

the user called MPC3000 can help u with this, he made the program and understands what happens to a disk if u use it on windows and on akai at the same time, the boot sector gets corrupt etc.

Make sure ALL those samples BEFORE you start in MPC editor are 44khz/16bit.
